An old friend of mine approached me to do a series of single panel comics based on a unique phenomenon of German grammar. I shall quote him:

"As you may know and enjoy, German grammar allows them to build their own unique words.

For instance: 

Rindfleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz

Law for the delegation of monitoring beef labelling

Lebensabschnittpartner

the person I am with today

​ (german for lover)​

​

Kaftfahrzeug-Haftpflichtversicherung

motor vehicle liability insurance

 

Anyway, I started coming up custom with German words I would use in my own life. 

A few of my favorites I'm translating into single Deutsch words:

 

-The joy of singing the wrong words to a song on purpose'

​

-Seeing a party seated after you served food'

​

-Walking into a spider web and people watching from across the field think you have lost your mind."
