Giant Pacific Octopus

This illustration was created in celebration of the Seattle Aquarium’s Giant Pacific Octopus, highlighting one of the Pacific Northwest’s most captivating marine creatures. The original artwork was rendered in ink and wash, then enhanced with digital color to bring out the octopus’s dynamic form and natural beauty. I collaborated closely with the Seattle Aquarium to ensure the piece authentically represented the species and aligned with their mission of marine education and conservation. The result is a vibrant, expressive illustration that honors both the artistry of the ocean and the Aquarium’s dedication to preserving it.
